“The door is wide open for you. You can either choose to close it back, and we could have a talk or you can exit the door and closed it behind you… it’s up to you” she said the last word and look away.
“Babe..” he called. Grab her by arms.
“What?!” She shouted. But still looking down at the floor.
“Please. Could you lift up and look at me?” He said it under his breath.
“…” She stood still. Not moving even an inch.
“Look at me” Again. He say it
“No.” Solid but scattering voice replied.
He lifted up her chin. She still closed her eyes and not showing any sadness facade. Not even try to open her eyes too. But deep inside her, broken pieces by pieces try to expect the next word will be left from his mouth.
“Just. Open your eyes and look at me.” A grasp on the arm felt.
“Ughh..” a hurt tone crawling out from her lips. But she stood still. The eyes closed shut and eyebrow arched.
She opened her eyes slowly. But her eyes already full with tears at the bottom of eyes just waiting to scrolling down the cheek.
He hugged her. The longest and warmest hug she ever felt in years. She thus cry on his chest. That’s just the feel she wanted to know and feel from her loved one.
To know that he can’t let her go just as much as she can’t leave him too.
